AdPeople Worldwide wins Reklame for Alvor 2011 AdPeople Worldwide has won the 2011 Reklame for Alvor Award with a campaign for Livslinien, a suicide helpline for men.Reklame for Alvor is one of Denmark’s most prestigious annual advertising awards, involving the country’s best communication agencies and is normally for a charitable cause with the agency, media houses and agency suppliers all providing their services for free. The AdPeople Worldwide campaign titled “Suicide Note” was selected out of 23 entries from Denmark’s top advertising agencies and will run during the month of March in local and national press as well as on national television, outdoor and online media. Using real suicide notes as the main campaign messaging, the communication aims to raise awareness among the general public on the painful subject of suicide. It positions Livslinien as “the other way out” when suicide is imminent. No headlines are used in the ads to distract the reader. All they see are the notes themselves. |

AdPeople Copenhagen runner up in B2B Marketing awards 2011 – Best use of Creative The “Move your business forward” campaign for Dell Computers SMB Division, Nordic Region, was selected as runner up in the category of Best use of Creative. The rationale behind the campaign was; "how do you make yet another new range of laptops stand out and grab the attention of a very busy business audience"? The small business segment is very price competitive, so the overall objective was two-fold: to strengthen the perception of Dell as a trusted advisor to small businesses; and to raise awareness of the new product line – the Vostro 3000 – in a dramatic new way.The creative idea was to draw attention to each new feature individually and find a way to make each one memorable. The placement of each ad was absolutely crucial and we created placements on the train in spaces that had never before been considered for advertising - matching the product benefit to the placement of the actual ad. |

Best Companies to Work for in Texas 2012 AdPeople Austin was recently named as one of the 2012 Best Companies to Work for in Texas.The award is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Texas. Companies enter a two-part survey process to determine the Best Companies to Work for in Texas. The first part is an evaluation of workplace policies, systems, philosophies, practices, and demographics. The second part is an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. AdPeople Austin will be recognized and honored at the Best Companies to Work for in Texas awards ceremony on Thursday, February 2, 2012 as part of the Texas Association of Business 2012 Annual Conference in Austin, Texas. |

AdPeople Copenhagen awarded "Idényt Magazine Award" for Rockwool campaign Each year Gallup/TNS tracks the performance of all ads inserted in Idényt. At the end of the year the Idényt award is given for the best performing ads in different categories. The tracking is based on how many of Idényts readers have read the ad partly or completely.Rockwool won not only in its category (Heating and insulation) but also the overall award across all categories. The Rockwool ad was the highest scoring ad of all ads in 2010 (58% of all Idényt readers read the ad equaling 986.000 readers) performing far better than other brands like Velux, Nykredit, Bosch Siemens. |

AdPeople Copenhagen wins Børsen’s "Gazelle prize "Since 1995 the daily Børsen has each year identified Denmark’s growth elite, and over time the gazelle has become part of the Danish language as a synonym for growth businesses. The selection is made by Greens Institute of Market Research, and the criteria are objective and based on data from the Danish Commerce and Companies Agency. In short the definition of a gazelle is: a business which has achieved a continuous growth in revenue or gross profit for the last four financial years, and which has, in total, more than doubled the revenue or the gross profit in the period. |
